Sustainable Hair Colour Revolution: Green Salon Collective Partners with Organic Colour Systems

Green Salon Collective is proud to announce Organic Colour Systems as their official colour partner! After looking for a colour brand who we feel aligns closely with our values and offers a truly sustainable alternative to conventional colour for our salons, we really connected with a colour that’s made here in the UK, and uses some really special ingredients to create great free-from formulas that are kind to hair and the planet.

Green Salon Collective has been offering hairdressers, barbers and colleges salon specific recycling solutions for waste streams such as hair, foil, colour tubes and towels for almost 5 years, developing over 10 different hair recycling projects and getting thousands of stylists recycling across the UK and Ireland, diverting over 150 tonnes of hairdressing waste from landfill or incineration.

Organic Colour Systems was founded three decades ago to give hairdressers a choice with their products, and use more natural, less toxic products in their salons. OCS’s unique system and conscious ingredients create a premium product that is better for you, the planet and your clients.

Sustainability, ethics and hairdressing are all at the heart of both GSC and OCS, both wanting to offer hairdressers a more sustainable solution to the existing norms within the hair & beauty industry. Being made in the UK, with natural ingredients, recycled or ocean-bound plastic bottles, with shared values and B Corp certifications, Green Salon Collective is excited to call Organic Colour Systems their official colour brand.

If you want to learn more about Organic Colour Systems, whether that’s as a new retail offering for your salon or to see if their colour could have a place in your salon, fill out the form here and someone will be in touch!
